Directed by David Middleton this Neil Simon comedy will have you rolling in the isles at the St. Petersburg Little Theatre as they present the fourth show of this year’s terrific season.
Al Lewis and Willy Clark were a top-billed vaudeville comedy team for more than 40 years. But eleven years after their last performance, they aren’t on speaking terms. When Willy’s nephew, Ben, books them for a TV show celebrating "The History of Comedy”, the reunion brings the bickering twosome back together and we are along for the memories and laughs.
Don’t miss this Neil Simon classic tail of two grumpy old men. There are great laughs to be had as they grapple with a get-together neither of them wants. Along the way we get a wonderful glimpse into their world of classic comedy and vaudeville in this tribute to the performers who made that comedy so great.

Woodson African American Museum, will participate in Black History month by remembering a legacy, The Miss Black St. Petersburg Pageant. St. Petersburg Little Theatre Presents: Anything Goes:
By Cole Porter
You don’t want to miss a minute of this sexy sea voyage running January 22 thru February 7, 2010.
SOLD OUT - Sunday January 31st.
Show times are Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:00PM and Sunday matinees at 2:00PM. Call the Box Office for Tickets and Information at 727-866-1973.
Tickets are $22.00 adults and $10.00 students. Website: www.splt.org. The theatre is located just off 275 at 4025 31st. St. South, St. Petersburg, 33712.
Directed by James Grenelle this Cole Porter musical saucily sails onto the St. Petersburg Little Theatre Stage.
The third offering of the season; it’s first class all the way as missionaries, millionaires, mobsters and molls mix it up during an ocean voyage filled with madcap antics and mistaken identities. The show features unforgettable songs like ‘You’re the top’, ‘Blow ,Gabriel, Blow’, ‘I Get a Kick Out of You’, ‘It’s Delovely’, and of course ‘Anything Goes’. This zany below deck farce follows the romantic antics of love sick stowaway Billy Cocker as he pursues heiress Hope Harcourt who is on the way to London to marry (for the money of course) Lord Evelyn Oakleigh, a hapless boring nobleman. Meanwhile mobsters disguised as missionaries are on board and on the lam. Soon the passengers believe there is a famous mobster on board…Public Enemy #1 and the fun ensues as our crazy crew just keep getting more confused.
Do not miss the chance to see this delightful show!
It’s delovely!
This project funded in part with the support of the Pinellas County Cultural Affairs Department, the Cultural Council, and the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners.
